We had a fantastic stay at 48 Cocoa Suites in York. As we wanted to be near the Barbican, this hotel was the perfect choice with its 10-minute walk proximity. The city center and the Shambles were also easily accessible, both within a 10 to 20-minute walk. Checking in and out was a breeze, plus the apartment's decor was charming. We appreciated the attention to detail, like the small book selection. The kitchen was fully stocked, even though we didn't use it. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, and the owner's communication was exceptional. highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

Leaving the windows open was not an option due to security concerns, so the room often became stuffy and warm. the wall switches for the hob and microwave/grill/oven were a bit confusing to figure out.
